Why we exist

English-speaking churches in Europe, Asia, the Americas, the Middle East and beyond have always struggled to find ministers. Vacancies are scattered across denominational mailing lists, private networks and the back pages of forgotten websites. Pastors and ministry workers who would gladly serve abroad rarely hear about the roles at all.

Called Abroad pulls those vacancies into one place — searchable, honest about what each role involves, and free to apply for.

Who it's for

Churches and mission agencies looking for a pastor, associate, youth worker, worship leader, chaplain or other ministry role can post a vacancy for free during our launch period.

Ministers, candidates and ministry workers can browse open roles, save the ones that fit, and sign up to get weekly alerts when new vacancies are posted.

How the board is curated

Every vacancy is reviewed by hand before it appears on the site. We check that the church or organisation is real, that the role is genuinely open, and that the listing is honest about what's involved.

We don't take a cut of salaries, charge candidates, or run ads. The board is supported by the global church community it serves.
